ARTIST STATEMENT

My journey as an artist began with a deep passion for creativity and self-expression. Growing up, I found solace in art, using it as a means to communicate complex emotions when words sometimes fell short. The vibrant colors and dynamic forms in my surroundings, having lived my formative years in Jamaica and later years in America, sparked my imagination and inspired me to explore the world through an artistic lens. I believe that art has the power to connect people and convey experiences, motivating me to stay close to my art over the years. Ultimately, my dedication to lifelong learning and exploration of creativity has anchored my identity as an artist.
